In displaying traffic to/from two or more ports of a switch which have orders of magnitude different traffic levels, logarithmic scales would be very useful. 2) Gray backgrounds for web versions of strip charts. Backgrounds of web versions of strip charts have white backgrounds, which make light colored curves (yellow in particular) almost invisible. Use of the same gray backgrounds as used on the host monitor would be very helpful. --- end of quote --- We plan a significant re-vamping of the strip chart facilities in the first quarter of next year.
