And how would you then do that? By Royal Mail ? Or would you use a public FTP site?
In any situation, you would HAVE to transfer the data, making a hole for hackers.
Why not Control that and do it the right way (like I suggested earlier)?
Making all these 'workarounds' for making people Feeling secure, is not what InterMapper is about! InterMapper is about Control, and visualization.
If you feel you miss a probe for monitoring your firewall, speak up, and the community can take a look at it!
You already have the TCP Connections probe to look at the connections to a device, making it possible to monitor if people try to telnet etc. into your box...
If your IT department think they will see hackers, keep an eye on the logs, or they might need education. Let me know, I'll gladly jump on a plane if needed... ;-)
