Over time, InterMapper Remote will accumulate graphical user interface > (GUI) features that may not be implemented in the "traditional" (built-in GUI on > Classic and OSX) versions. If the UI is going to diverge at some point, then it seems like including a copy of IM Remote that's bound to the local machine might be a good idea. Some people, myself included, have their IM machine running with large and/or multiple monitors. Having to run a copy of IM Remote on another machine, or license a copy to run on the same machine as IM (which seems silly), doesn't seem like the best solution just to get a full UI. I know this is basically what you do with the headless version of IM but that's a separate product that we would need to buy a new license for (unless I'm misunderstanding). -- matt ____________________________________________________________________ List archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/intermapper-talk%40list.dartware.com/ To unsubscribe: send email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
