My IM server nearly ran out of disk space this morning and I'm doing some late spring cleaning.
At issue is the stuff in the /Library/Application Support/InterMapper Settings folder. I understand most of it, but I'm not sure about the Chart Data folder.
On my machine it hasn't been touched by the system since late February. It's currently got over half a gig of log files in it that don't make a heck of a lot of sense to me. There are cryptically-named folders in there that have a range of modification dates on them; the latest date is early June and the earliest date is Feb 2002.
Should I leave this stuff alone, or is it safe to do some cleanup on it?
It's perfectly safe to delete the files. IM will create them again, if needed.
Keep in mind, though, that you delete log data, so you might wanna move them to some backup media, if needed...
Hope it helps,
