This is on IM 4.0.5 under OS X. --- end of quote --- Hmmm... There are a couple ways this could fail: 1) What's the Probe Type for the top-level icon? It should be "Map Status". 2) Is the map local? That is, is the sub-map running on the same machine as the top-level map? 3) What's the IP address for the Map Status device? It should be 127.0.0.1 (the local host's loopback address) if the map is running on the same machine. Please get back to me if none of these lead to a solution. Thanks!
