My thought would be that, if you have looked up the environmental information in the MIB, and the device doesn't seem to be giving it to InterMapper, or snmpget, that the information is not there. Is it possible that you need to update the firmware on the UPSs, or find a different MIB, in order to report this? I suspect it could be worth talking with APC. I hope that is somewhat helpful. Perhaps someone else will have more specific suggestions.

I'm trying to have our Intermapper box monitor all of our APC UPS's on

AP9619 cards in all the UPS's, mostly SmartUPS 1500's, a few Matrix series
and 1 Symmetra. I'm using Mike Richardson's custom Environmental
Monitoring Probe to do this that I found on intermapper's user
contribution page. I can't get it to work. I get "[noSuchName]" showing
up in the probe information for the environmental card temperature,
internal temp, relative humidity, and absolute humidity. We only have 1
env card installed in our ups's. I've tried doing a snmpwalk and an
snmpget on both our read and write snmp strings and it doens't return much
information...about a 10K file of oid information, and doens't include any
of the environmental card stuff.
Is anyone else doing something similar to this? I've grabbed the APC-MIB
and APC-Powernet-MIB's and have tried using mUpsEnvironAmbientTemperature
and the oid number for it (with the trailing .0) and I keep getting
"Failed object:
enterprises.apc.products.hardware.measureUps.mUpsEnviron.mUpsEnvironAmb ientTemperature.0".
Seems as though the object doesn't exist! Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
