Running IM 4.1.3 (OS X version) under OS X 10.3.3, which I just moved to (used to be 9.2.2), on a G4-400. My map with 23 routers and 90-odd circuits runs IM at 45%, the window server at 25%, and system about 10%, according to Activity Monitor. I reniced IM down one or two to keep the machine responsive, but I was a bit surprised by this CPU level. Is it to be expected?
And it's definitely them ants gobbling up the CPU. Restart IM and you can see the CPU start at 1% or so and creep up as the ants kick in around each router. Or make the map editable and see it drop :-) Cheers, -- Tim ____________________________________________________________________ List archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/intermapper-talk%40list.dartware.com/ To unsubscribe: send email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
