I have been seeing a strange problem over here. I have an ATI Rapier 24i switch that I'm probing with SNMP. On that switch is a VLAN/Ethernet port that is set up to do DHCP (so we can plug a laptop in and get an IP, if we are on site). Intermapper keeps sending me multiple messages about this interface going up and down, even though I know for a fact that that interface is definitely down (there's nothing plugged into it).
What's really weird is that if I look at the link on the map itself (with IM Remote), it shows that link has been down for almost 4 days. I have 7 other Rapier switches that are configured the same way, and they are not having this problem. If I look at the Rapier itself, it says the same thing. I've attached the notification I'm getting. Any ideas here? ------------------------------------------------------------ 06/08 14:17:23: Message from InterMapper 4.2b3 Event: Up Name: Core4-Monee Document Name: CTIconnect Address: 63.250.224.89 Probe Type: SNMP Condition: Link Down: [32] vlan490 Acknowledgment: Time since last reported down: 11 seconds Device's up time: 4 days, 8 hours, 51 minutes, 35 seconds ----------------------------------------------------------- Tim Huffman Technical Support Engineer CTIconnect e: [EMAIL PROTECTED] w: www.cticonnect.net ____________________________________________________________________ List archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/intermapper-talk%40list.dartware.com/ To unsubscribe: send email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
