I thought about that. I also need to know if the customer's radio goes down by itself. It is probably just a matter of playing with all the interdependencies. Guess I really need to look this all over again. Some radios show the ethernet port and some show the wireless port. Seems to be purely random. I need to figure that out so the ethernet link goes to the switch and the radio port goes to other radios. These are all Alvarion BAII radios.

Thanks

If I understand the question correctly I believe you only want notifications
from the upper level map.. will that solve the issue?

Shut off notifications on the lower level and only run it on the surface
level maps for the particular alarm levels and times required.

A couple questions on notification dependencies and sub-maps. We have
wireless customers all over the county. How I now show my network for
them is have a main map that shows all towers and AU's (this is the
radio that talks directly with customer radios). Then I have another
map for each AU with all the customer radios connected to it. If we
lose an AU we get paged for all customers for that AU also. What I
would like to do and will do is to make sub-maps showing the customers.
Will the notification dependencies from the main map follow the submap?
So that if a main link connecting a tower went out we would get paged
for that and not 50 pages for all the customers and everything else at
that tower and beyond. Hopefully this all makes since.

Thanks
Bennie
