Thank you for all of your input and feedback on UPS Probes. Please continue to
send in requests for the UPS probes you would like to see in InterMapper.

We are currently working on probes for the following MIBs/vendors:

- RFC1628 <Dartware>
- Tripp-Lite (RFC1628) <Dartware>
- Powerware (RFC 1628) [Eaton/Exide] <Stewart Harris>
- Best Power <Dartware>
- Victron / Riello <Juergen Braendle>
- Powernet (Symmetra) [APC] <Chris Skaar>
- Powernet (Smart UPS) [APC] <Dartware>
- Liebert (luCore OIDs) [Emerson] <Dartware>

We will definitely send out the probes when they're good enough for testing. In
addition, we'd like to try an experiment.

We've found a program (iReasoning SNMP Agent Simulator) that will collect SNMP
data from your device and save it in a file. You can send us that file, and we
will then use the simulator here to "play back" the data that came from your
device so that InterMapper can test it.

You can download the SNMP Agent Simulator program from the following URL:

        http://simulator.ireasoning.com/downloadsimulator.shtml

Please send me simulator data files for the UPS devices.

Instructions for generating a simulator data file:
- download simulator from the URL above
- install the simulator & run it
- go to "Tools" > "Record SNMP Walk"
- fill out IP, port, & community for the device
- "browse" to select a path where you want the file saved
- set "Times" to "3"
- click "record"
- email me the data file w/ model information for the device
