Tim:

The re-registration count for an SM is obtained from its AP's link status
table (linkReRegCount, OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.161.19.3.1.4.1.26.<luid>, where luid
is the LUID of the SM). 

I am guessing that rebooting the AP will reset these counters. I don't know
if there is a facility to reset the re-reg count for a particular SM without
having to reboot the AP.
