Hi Chirs,
Thanks for the off line response. Script worked fine once I copied the text to Textpad and pasted into VI in the linux shell. Mac OS X text docs seem to have an odd EOF character which wasn't parsed by /bin/sh. - script runs well expect I had many instances (20+ ) of the probes on 5 min intervals. Had to drop to 10mins for stability. Dave. _____ From: Chris Romo [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 24 March 2006 17:33 To: David Reddy Subject: Re: Iterating over a Table - any update? Dave, What platform are you using? I am running it on a Macintosh (MACOS 10.3.5), InterMapper 4.2 and it works fine. Try running the script from the command line. You need to supply the IP address, process and snmp community string. Usage: process-check.sh IP-ADDRESS PROCESS SNMP-COMMUNITY-STRING If that works, there is some disconnect between InterMapper and the script. If it does not work, you should get some useful information to help determine why. If the script does work from the command line, but not InterMapper, you might try putting the full path to the script in the probe.
