Does anyone know how to update the displayed name for a custom probe? I've
written a commandline based probe that gets a pile of information from an
access point, and displays number of associations, mac list, channel, AP
name, etc.. but I cant figure out how to actually update the name on the
map based on output from my script..
Documentation is pretty scarce on the display portion of the probe
file. Was there talk at one point about a custom probe editor that I can
use some sort of GUI to modify a probe file? One of my issues is that on
my device status window now, the list of MAC addresses is not
cut-n-pastable, and worse yet, its graphable.. its rather interesting
watching IM try to graph a list of mac addresses. While looking at other
probes, I see things like "/4/" and "/P0M/" but no idea what those
mean.. is there documentation somewhere that I'm just not seeing? I've
been trying to use
www.intermapper.com/docs/DevGuide/intermapper_developer_guide.htm but it
seems to be missing alot of info, especially when it comes to the
commandline probes and the <display> type tags...
