I concur; I'm not currently concerned with short term packet loss, and the upgrade to 4.5 changed our "political" map from being green unless there was a real, "people will complain" outage, to looking like a traffic light.
I'd like to be able to turn off the short-term packet loss monitoring, or at least disable its ability alter the state of monitored devices (making it purely informational). This feature only works on some networks and just fails completely on others where most of the links are a number of hops away from the IM Server. We desire a switch to just turn the feature off.
