Hi Karthik
There isn't a way to easily archive chart data at the moment. However, we
are in the process of developing and implementing a SQL database for
InterMapper that will facilitate this process in the future.
You can export chart data to a log file or text file for further processing.
I've also had a customer mention that he uses a log file analysis and
reporting tool called Sawmill (http://www.sawmill.net/) to read InterMapper
logs. I don't know anything about the application, but it might be worth a
look.

Is there a plan to at least consider RRD? Having the functionality of Cricket
somewhat built into InteMapper can go a long way in making InterMapper the
killer
app. Currently we run Cricket solely for trending but it is et another SNMP took
doing extensive queries on our net/devices. The current model InterMapper uses
for
charting is not as elegant as Cricket in my opinion.
Can you elaborate on whether or not this sort of long term trending is being
considered? SQL is nice but sometimes we really just need the averaged data
over time.
Thanks
