Folks:

A new version of InterMapper 4.5.3 is available. This official release is
recommended to all customers, and is a free upgrade for anyone whose
maintenance contract was valid on 9 October 2006. In addition to a couple of GUI related bug fixes, it has one very important bug fix:

- Fix bug in SNMP device handling that could cause interfaces for one device to be associated with a different device, stats for one device reporting stats for a different device, etc. May also appear as links being deleted from devices. (If you're upgrading to 4.5.3 from 4.5.2, see below for further information.)

4.5.2 Users: If at some point you upgraded to 4.5.2 from 4.5 or earlier, either directly or after having first upgraded to 4.5.1, and you experienced the bug mentioned above on one or more of your maps, you may find it easier to start from an earlier version of those maps, rather than fixing the current version of them. When you upgraded from 4.5 or earlier to 4.5.1, or from 4.5 or earlier to 4.5.2, InterMapper made a backup copy of your maps, as the file format changed between 4.5 and 4.5.1. You can find these backups in the Maps (Backups) folder in the InterMapper Settings folder. They will have the version number of the version of InterMapper that made the backup at the end of the filename and first ten characters of the map name in the middle of the filename. For instance, if you had a map named "upgradetest", and you upgraded from 4.5 to 4.5.1 before going to 4.5.2, the backup of that map would appear in the Maps (Backups) directory as something like "g448068aa-__upgradetes-62-4.5.1". You can move or copy these files into the Maps (Disabled) folder. The next time you open the Enabled Maps pane in the Server Settings, these maps will appear in the list and you can enable them.
