Thx, -------- Message original -------- Sujet: Many SNMP polls per minute for some equipment Date: Mon, 14 May 2007 12:08:13 +0200 De: Xavier BENSEMHOUN <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Organisation: T-Systems France Pour: InterMapper Discussion <[email protected]> Hello, We encounter a very strange bug with our IM: it polls in SNMP (Basic OID or any other SNMP probes) some network equipment many times per seconds so that their CPU's activity increase to a dangerous value... The only solution was to chose the ping probe... The proprietary of those products have verified the conf. and rebooted them but we still have the problem. We are using: . GNU/Linux Debian 4.0 (before, in 3.1, we already encountered this bug) . IM 4.5.5 (before we used 4.5.3 and that was the same problem) Could you tell us if you already have encountered this bug and help us ? We can't upgrade the IM version for the moment (unless for the new version without the problem ;) ) Thanks, Xavier. ____________________________________________________________________ List archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/intermapper-talk%40list.dartware.com/ To unsubscribe: send email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
