Ok, I'm not a graphic artist. Some clients want us to use some custom icons on their maps.
Actually, these icons were just exported out of Visio into .jpg and I converted them to .png When I import them, I get a box around them in whatever light background color and then the icon in the middle. Can someone explain how to get the icon "naked" without a background in a box??? I tried fooling around in MSPaint with the clear and opaque icon stuff but I'M getting nowhere fast. If run locally, you might wanna see if native InterMapper plugins can do what you want. Of cource, the ease of 'just' moving an existing Nagios plugin to IM could be easy... But if you wanna know more about what native IM plugins can do (TCP/ UDP or SNMP) then ask away, or look in the developer docs in intermapper.com Best, Jakob Peterhänsel "Be a part of the Love Generation - carry a smile, not a gun." - JP, May 2006 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] AIM: Marook Phone: +45 29687104 On 11/06/2007, at 19.12, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Bill, > > Thanks that will give me a place to start with our experts on > creating a custom probe to provide what I'm looking for. > > Rich White > University of Illinois > ____________________________________________________________________ > List archives: > http://www.mail-archive.com/intermapper-talk%40list.dartware.com/ > To unsubscribe: send email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > ____________________________________________________________________ List archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/intermapper-talk%40list.dartware.com/ To unsubscribe: send email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ____________________________________________________________________ List archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/intermapper-talk%40list.dartware.com/ To unsubscribe: send email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
