We also agree - a facility to do this is more of a 'must' than a feature

Either create a new log file, or... have the ability to right-click on
the probe (server, router, etc..), and choose "See event log for this
device" sorta thing...

You can create a new log file under Server Settings > Server Preferences
> Log Files. There is a partial filtering of events setup where you can
redirect Remote Server, Web Server or Telnet Server events to this new
log file. Would this be difficult to expand this existing feature to any
device? Is this something that others would find useful?
