Hi Dave,

I apologize for the delay in updating you on the status of ticket 53351. It
is assigned to an engineer and I will get an update for you. As to ticket
53814, this ticket was created when you sent an email to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] requesting information on propagating interfaces from
submaps to master maps. I can't see where another inquiry was merged into
this ticket.

I'll find out what is happening with 53351 and update you accordingly.
Again, my apologies that you have not been contacted in a timely manner.

Regards,

Subject: [IM-Talk] Issue with scaling on charts for 10G interfaces

Greetings-

This forum seems to be the only viable method for reporting bugs or
difficulties as my experience suggests that the "Report a Bug" feature under
the "help" tab appears to function as a NO-OP.

I am and have been having a problem with chart scaling on 10 G interfaces.

Status a 10G interface,
Select xmit or rcv bps value for chart.
On newly created chart select "chart options"
Modify prefix to "giga- G"
Set upper bounds to "10"
Uncheck "auto-adjust" (may or may not be relevant)
Click on "OK"

Chart shows upper bond as "1.410065408" and not "10"

Returning to "chart options" for chart
Upper bound is now displayed as "1"
Clicking on "OK" returns upper bound of the displayed chart to "1.00"

I believe that I first reported this behavior about 10 months ago. I head
nothing back other than the ticket number (53351) so I followed up about 3
months latter and was told that the issue was languishing on someone's desk.
This past summer I requested an update on this bug and received no answer
other than a new ticket number (53814). (This lack of follow-up would seem
to suggest a bug in your ticket tracking mechanism.)

Anyway, I just upgraded to 4.6.3 client and server and the issue persists
into the new version. The problem exists with the server code running on a
MAC OSX box and with the client running on that box or with a client
(IM-remote) running on a Windows XP box.

Thanks for looking into this issue.
