Stephen, At the moment, there isn't a way to log only the up/down events to a separate log file. There are some log file analysis tools available but I have not received any feedback from customers who might be using such tools to extract data from the InterMapper logs. However, when the SQL database feature is implemented, this is the kind of data you will be able to easily retrieve using SQL queries.
