Since its inception, InterMapper has been capable of monitoring native AppleTalk devices on platforms that support AT/DDP. This functionality is even present on some versions of Windows and Linux. We are considering removing support for AppleTalk from the next major release of InterMapper (on all platforms). There will still be optional support for the AppleTalk MIB via SNMP, but InterMapper will no longer be able to send or receive If we pursue this change, InterMapper 4.6.x will be the last version that supports sending and receiving AppleTalk
