I've never used TeraTerm, so I can't say anything useful about that, but
if you're on Windows, PuTTY works pretty well for telnetting into the IM
server. It does telnet, as well as SSH, and has a nice feature set.
You can get it here:

Hope that helps,

I know I have seen this but I can't find it at the moment.
I thought there was a telnet command to export the userlist?
"Help" doesn't show it. I need to supply management with a userlist and I
don't feel like typing it out.
I see an import command but no export command.
And talking about telnet, can someone explain just what Intermapper wants for a
telnet client?
I prefer a gui but a command line will do as long as I can redirect to a file.
My favourite program - TeraTerm Pro, doesn't answer back. Can't see what I
type.
I see the name and password prompts but I fail authentication
I use Tera Term for everything without any problems, I almost live in a telnet
session as I am into routers and switches (different vendors) all day - except
IM doesn't like Tera Term.
Windows Telnet at the command prompt doesn't answer back but accepts commands
(that you can't see) I can authenticate and it does display the results.
Haven't had luck redirecting to a file though.
Hyperterm shows the name/password prompts. I seem to be authenticated and get
to a prompt but then I can't enter commands or receive output.
Any thoughts?
