Folks:
A new version of InterMapper 4.6.5 is available. This final, official release is
recommended to all customers, and is a free upgrade for anyone with a current
maintenance contract. It has several useful features and a number of bug fixes:
- Updates to work with MacOS X (Leopard).
- Work better with Time Machine. InterMapper marks as off-limits large,
continually changing files such as the log files and chart data to avoid using a
lot of space on the backup volume.
- Code-sign the binary so that it will work with the MacOS X 10.5
firewall.
- Availability is computed to be 100% at startup if the device is already
up;
otherwise, it's shown as 0%.
- It is possible to override the RemoteAccess TCP port from a command line
argument.
- Improvements to the AD/LDAP authentication server, handling of Counter64
values retrieved via SNMP.
- A number of bug fixes.
