We would REALLY appreciate this functionality as our maps have become
quite cluttered with multiple probes for each device....

Thanks!

Andrey,

There isn't a way to attach multiple probes to a single device at the
moment. However, we are planning on implementing this feature in a
future
release.

Yeah, probably would make more sense. Something like 'probe response
time'.
But I think that was a great idea mentioned that it would be nice to be
able
to ping device in the same probe as doing SNMP queries. And if the
device
does not reply to pings due to security policy, we should have an option
of
disabling ping in that probe.

Let me ask you this: is there a way to 'attach' multiple probes to the
same
device entry? Like I said before, I don't want to have my router showing
up
twice on the same map (once for SNMP and second time for ping probe)

Andrey

Folks:

Thanks for all the feedback on round-trip time! Would it make sense if
we
renamed 'round-trip time' to 'response time', to more accurately reflect
what this value truly is?
