We are looking for ways to have Intermapper monitor about 20 AXIS 241Q Video Servers spread across our network. In particular, we want to monitor video loss on cameras. I don't see anything in the User Contributions area that looks applicable. Does anyone have suggestions for ways to monitor these devices beyond simple pinging?
I can set the Axis servers to send me e-mail on video loss, but I would prefer a method that allows us to more closely log, monitor and notify administrators of potential problems with our video surveillance network. It does not appear that Axis provides a device specific MIB for their camera servers according to their documentation. Thanks in advance.
