Folks:
There's a new version of InterMapper Flows available, version 0.99b, build 3235.1,
dated 21 September 2008. This is a good time to retrieve a copy and check it out.
We think you'll find it to be quite reliable.
We have received some great suggestions for enhancements. However, we are nearing
our ship date (end of this month), so we are holding onto them to consider for
a follow-on version.
What's New in Version 0.99b?
There are a number of other improvements, changes, and bug fixes, listed below
and on the Release Notes page:
* [FEATURE] Invalid IPv4 addresses entered in Host filter are now detected and
displayed in red
* [FEATURE] View menus moved to the top, short-cuts added
* [LATERAL] Improvements to the Mac and Windows installer (package name, uninstaller
permissions)
* [LATERAL] Improved HTML formatting of saved report
* [LATERAL] Removed the sunset date
* [LATERAL] Various textual changes and corrections
* [BUG FIX] Fixed bug where "forward" and "backward" caused time window to shorten
incrementally
* [BUG FIX] ICMP (and ICMP-6) message types are now resolved in
the GUI
* [BUG FIX] Fixed an NPE bug in the report save window
* [BUG FIX] Made a fix to the RedHat init scripts
* [BUG FIX] IPv6 interface strings are now correctly removed
before filtering
* [BUG FIX] Half-sliver-pie-chart-bug has been fixed
* [BUG FIX] "License expired" dialog errors are now displayed again (bug was
fixed)
* [BUG FIX] Ridiculously high negative percentage (on some platforms) bug was
fixed
Please try out this new version. You should simply be able to install it on your
InterMapper/InterMapper Flows system without uninstalling the previous version.
