I monitor the pix firewall using snmp....
The interfaces do show up ..just chart as usual ..
The same for netscreen.....

What probe are you using to monitor the firewall? Assuming the firewall
is SNMP-enabled, you can use the SNMP Traffic probe to monitor the
firewall and ethernet interfaces.

I have been tasked to figure out if we can monitor the ethernet ports on
firewalls.

 

We currently monitor the firewall IP but the boss wants to know if we
can set Intermapper to monitor the ethernet adaptors.

 

I'm a new guy to Intermapper so would appreciate any help you all could
give me.
