Not by default, but essentially yes. I was talking a long time ago about
need to be able to see trends in graphs and the answer was always: you will
be able to use RRD or similar tool when we release IMDB.
Have you tried to scale out to a 'year' on a busy interface? It just looks
like one fat stripe and one can't tell what the behavior of this interface
was over the year.
For example, take nagios. It will actually average the older data for you.
Don't get me wrong. I love the ability to drill in if I need to to the last
month throughput value on the 5th at 7am and see what it was, but it would
be also nice to be able to see that the bandwidth demand on my WAN interface
is slowly creeping up.
