I have several http probes which verify strings on the returned page. I simply
type in the exact text of what I want to verify. I don't add any additional
syntax, just *exactly* what I'm expecting.

Examples of some I have:
Main Menu
HelpDesk
Apache

Subject: [IM-Talk] regex in "string to verify" for http probe

Hi I'm trying to match a simple line on a html from a http probe.

Is there a way I can use regular expressions in the "string to verify" field of
the http probe?

It seems I can only get the probe to find the string "<html". The issue is I
have a tomcat service running on this host, so if the tomcat service dies,
apache still loads a page that starts with "<html" so the I never see an alert.

Can I do this with the http probe? Or is this something that need to be
customized.

thanks in advance for any help.
