Hi, I tried to do what you suggest, but when I select the device or the probe, the menu "Set Timeout..." is disabled. Any idea why?

BTW, the SNMP agent is getting the info runining a script in the target server. So, it takes time to get the info, so I will like to set the timeout bigger. Any help will be great!

Recently I added a monitor for a server using the prob "SNMP High Threshold". The strange thing is that this probe return lot of times during the day a "Short Term packet Loose" Alert. The server has another monitors, for example the Hosts Resources and a Ping probe and those probes didn' give us any alert of short term packet loose. Any idea how to fix that issue?

I would increase the timeout for that probe using Set Timeout... Also check the debug log for SNMP packets from that device that arrive late or aren't matched by InterMapper.

It may take extra time for the SNMP agent to retrieve the value of the specific OID you requested, particularly if the value is external to the agent's process.
