Hi Mark,
Looks like you're making real progress!
Re: network interfaces, I'll echo what Bernd said: The interfaces
screen in the app should show the status of all interfaces that aren't
hidden.
The most important items for each interface we're displaying:
- If the interface is admin-down (blue-X)
- If the interface is operationally-down (no link - Red-X)
- Traffic (equivalent functionality to the ants)
- Interface Errors (in/out)
The top two I look at when something is "broken", and the bottom two
are what I look at when there's "trouble" - bad performance, etc.
Re: connected devices, I believe NetworkID is the attribute you would
scan to get that but one of the dartware folks could say for sure.

Hi -
For those of you interested, I've started a bit of a blog which I'll
keep
updated with the development of the iPhone app. That should help me
reduce
the length of my posts to the list :o)

There are finally some real screen shots -- not just mock-ups. And
more
real-world testing is now underway. Still a way to go, but getting
there.
For list members though, I would like to see if it's possible to get
some
more feedback on the questions I raised a couple of week back:
http://www.mail-archive.com/intermapper-talk@list.dartware.com/msg05304.html
I'm particularly trying to find out what people are after for
network/interface diagnostics, which is not my forte.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Mark Mackay.
