In monitoring serial links attached to Cisco 2800 and 3800 routers, we're 
experiencing periods when the jitter values reported by the SLA probe go to 
zero and remain there for 2-15 minutes. These periods do not coincide with high 
traffic or errors on the path under test, or on the path to the test router 
from the IM machine. 

The type of test does not appear to affect this, either - happens whether the 
router is configured to test udp-jitter or ICMP. Routers are running various 
flavours of IOS 12.4. 
 
Anyone else seeing this?
