Historically, Meru's mibs changed with each release of the code. I don't know whether or not they are slowing that down to just on major releases (I hope so!) but we used to update probe code every time we updated controller code. I didn't really to much with that end of things, so I can't tell you where to find MIB reference docs or if you'll just have to read the MIBs themselves. > > I'm think of starting off with just basic host resource monitoring, but I > hope that there is an OID that reports number of APs down. Right now we're just pinging the controllers, but basic system health and interface bandwidth utilization would be interesting to us if it's not hard to find. > > Any other ideas of what would be interesting to look for without have 2-4 sec > response times? > > > -------------- > Andrey Khomyakov | Senior Network Engineer | +1.617.879.5945 > ----- -debbie Debbie Fligor, n9dn Network Engineer, CITES, Univ. of Il email: [email protected] <http://www.uiuc.edu/ph/www/fligor> "My turn." -River Tam ____________________________________________________________________ List archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/intermapper-talk%40list.dartware.com/ To unsubscribe: send email to: [email protected]
