Step 2: Add a Splunk user You need to add a user account to InterMapper that Splunk can use to log in to the InterMapper server. To add a user: In the left pane of the Server Settings window, click Users. The Users panel appears. Click the + button and choose Add User... The User Information dialog appears. In the Name box, enter a user name for the Splunk Server. In the Automatic Login text box, enter the IP address of the Splunk server. Click OK. The Splunk Server user appears in the user list. Drag the Splunk Server user to the Administrators group. The Splunk Server user requires elevated privileges to export details about InterMapper maps. If you open Edit > Server Settings > Users and check the Administrators group, is there a user called splunk with an IP address in parentheses behind it? -- Mike Maki | InterMapper Technical Consultant, Help/Systems supp...@intermapper.com InterMapper | A Division of Help/Systems Visit us on: Twitter | LinkedIn www.intermapper.com -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.intermapper.com/viewtopic.php?p=4394#4394 ____________________________________________________________________ List archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/intermapper-talk%40list.dartware.com/ To unsubscribe: send email to: intermapper-talk-...@list.dartware.com
