I've just committed a new documentation module for SimpleXML, which should show up on php.net.... sometime. It's available at http://php.kennyt.com/newdocs/?q=ref.simplexml -- if you see any major errors (and there are some, I'm sure), please point them out.
The 2nd example uses the undefined $movies variable, should probably be $xml->movie.
