Hi!

I was pointed towards this list from the php-install list regarding a specific error type that I've encountered when running the built-in tests with debugging configured into PHP 5.

The error messages look like this:

  /usr/local/src/php5-200408020630/main/main.c(1694) : Bailed out without a bailout
address!

I'm wondering how severe those "bailout" errors are (everything seems to work fine except for the error message), and if someone perhaps could give a short explanation of this error type. Why do these errors occur, and what can possibly be done about them (except not configuring PHP with --enable-debug)?

I've tried to search the web for more information, but haven't found any explanations anywhere.

Many thanks in advance!

Best regards,
Björn Wiberg
