While I think it's important for me to share my opinion (because my opinion is, like, the best opinion), I don't think that opinion needs to be able to vote. You and I still have soft power — we can use our platform (many existing voters follow both you and I on Twitter) to encourage people to vote yes on an RFC we feel strongly about e.g. https://twitter.com/psalmphp/status/1347163072587186178.
