The most friction I had as a newish contributor was what happens after you create a pull request, and nobody responds to it. I have quite some trouble getting my PRs reviewed. I also dislike the asymmetry where a single poorly motivated objection can cause an author months of RFC paperwork. Regards, Sjoerd Langkemper
