Atlast identified the cause of ./configure on cross build failing. The cause was autoconf versions. In my dev environment I have autoconf version 2.57 whereas snaps.php.net has autoconf 2.13. Fixed NetWare TSRM/threads.m4 to make configure work out of snaps.php.net release.
