    Sorry, I absolutely didn't mean to sound impolite, but concise
    emails sent just before rushing out tend to screw up this way.
    My fault.

    Still, you can take the below message at the face value: two honest
    questions without any hidden meanings or anything like that; I'm
    just asking about the current state of the bug, and whether Hartmut
    still hacks ext/ncurses or moved on.
