I've followed the goto 'issue' from the security of the Zend weekly summaries, and I thought I'd share my 2 cents: I do think that users' opinions should be considered when designing major features, and that's all I did. I'm not out on a vendetta: I think we all want "the best" for PHP, even if what "the best" is needs debating.
