Thank you for your response.

Yes, I know about the end of life.  And, we are working
towards getting all of our customers off of PHP4.
However, some have found a way to write code that
requires php4.  We are working with them.  However,
we just upgraded to 4.4.7 and had this problem
during the upgrade.

If the only answer is to upgrade to php5, we will
accelerate the conversion to php5 and get there as
soon as possible.
