Thank you for pointing to that, I apologize for not including this information into my original message. EAP version of SubGit is free for use in any projects. SubGit will remain free for use in the open source projects after release (I think it would be really strange to do otherwise). We plan to make it possible to use SubGit for free in closed source projects as well, may be with some unobtrusive message printed out to the console after each push/commit, but it is not yet finally decided. We have no plans to make SubGit itself open source so far. I think subgit-specific discussion will better suite subgit-users mailing list. Thanks!
