If so, it might be a good idea to look through XMLRPC bugs: https://bugs.php.net/search.php?cmd=display&bug_type=All&status=Open&package_name%5B%5D=XMLRPC-EPI+related&by=Any&limit=30 and see if you could help with any of those, submit patches and then request developer account (http://php.net/git-php.php).
