•A minimum of 3 years direct experience with online communities,
gamification/reward systems, social/mobile apps and social networks. –
Total IT Experience – 7-8 yrs
•Experience in the IT industry is a huge plus, as well as experience
managing an internal-facing community (inside a company).
•Demonstrated experience in motivating audiences to participate via
social media avenues.
•Experience with data analysis and reporting pertaining to usage and
statistics highly desired.
•Experience with multiple web development and social media
applications required. Examples include: Sharepoint, Mediawiki, Google
analytics, MS Office applications, Joomla, HTML.
•Experience with community “roles,” such as champions, moderators, gardeners.
•Actively manage, nurture and grow Technical Engineering’s digital
presence, which includes elements such as a community forum (bulletin
board), wiki, web site, video interface, blog, and custom-developed
social applications.
•Participate in the proactive monitoring and seeding of community
discussions and posts to create dialogue and interaction, as well as
track member activity to identify engagement opportunities.
•Participate in the creation of promotional strategies to increase
usage and understanding of community-driven concepts.
•Participate in establishing and directing a content calendar to
ensure regular delivery of content for user base, as well as working
with subject matter contacts to develop content (e.g. blog posts,
marketing messages, videos).
•Participate in the coordination and promotion of live community events.
•Identify and advocate for improvements and innovations by proactively
conducting research on industry trends related to social media,
particularly its use within large companies.
•Support the ongoing development and execution of community strategy,
policies, and guidelines.
•Coordinate with advocates across the organization to ensure that the
highest levels of visibility are achieved through the identified
social outlets.
•Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities including
online advocacy, content development and community outreach
