They will work on in house J2E applications, would like candidates to have a *Java programming background* (basic skills are fine). *Selenium and hands on QTP experience* needed. *Description* Seeking an experienced Software QA Test Engineer to be responsible for test, verification, and quality assurance of the systems test activity for new software projects and initiatives.** Responsibilities include: - Working knowledge of Unix and/or Linux. - Reviewing project specifications and systems requirements of the project. - Generating test plans to validate the requirements. - Developing test scenarios and generating detailed test procedures. - Executing tests and validating test results as detailed in the test procedures. - Identifying, analyzing, and documenting any defects discovered during testing. - Working with the development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. - Generating test reports to document all test results. *Qualifications Minimum Qualifications*** - BS degree in computer science or related engineering field. - 4+ practical experience in software development and/or software test/quality assurance engineering. - Experience with end-to-end testing. - Experience with SQL. - Experience with Web Services and SOAP UI. - Experience with / proficiency in verbal and written technical communications, including writing test plans. *Desired Qualifications* - Experience with Java, C/C++, JSP, DHTML and XML. - Experience developing and executing automated test scripts using Mercury Quick Test Professional (QTP). - Experience with configuration management and revision control using CVS. - Experience with Load Runner.
