Please reply to [email protected] Role: Performance Test Engineer Location: San Antonio, TX Duration: 6 months Responsibilities: · Contribute to Testing strategies for Performance, Scalability, Availability and Reliability of the next generation systems and applications. · Drive the sessions with all the stakeholders to define the Performance requirements and SLAs of the new and existing applications. · Work closely with Business Owners, Product Managers and Architects to do pro-active Capacity planning to make sure the applications are scalable and available to the growing business needs. Must Have: · 5+ years of experience in Performance testing. · Hands on experience in designing, building & executing Performance tests and monitoring the systems for possible bottlenecks. · Deep understanding of J2EE technologies, Oracle DB, Perl and Shell scripts for backend billing jobs · Strong background in diagnostics of the systems. · Knowledge of open source testing tools for functional and performance testing · Experience with Volume/Stress/Endurance testing of web applications, web services, batch jobs · Expert in designing and testing performance tests against SOA applications (REST and SOAP web services). · Strong analytical skills to analyze the huge amounts of performance metrics and present in an easy to understand format. · Provide recommendations to the performance bottlenecks and work with the other teams to properly tune the systems. · Self Starter, Team Player and works with very minimal guidance or supervision.
