Required Experience:
- Oracle DBA must have 7 years of working experience with 4+ years PeopleSoft experience
- Oracle 11g or higher database administration experience.
- Oracle Architecture & Administration
- Oracle Business Intelligence Suite
- Oracle RAC
- PeopleSoft Installation, Administration and PeopleSoft DBA skills
- Job Description
- The candidate should be well versed with Oracle database administration fundamentals, application performance tuning, SQL performance tuning, thorough knowledge of Entity-Relationship diagrams, create/manage/tune materialized views, create/tune stored procedures, create/manage/tune db.
- The candidate should have PeopleSoft Installation, Administration and PeopleSoft DBA skills.
- The candidate should be capable to write PL/SQL packages, triggers, procedures, functions.
- The candidate should be able to understand application SQL logic and provide input for any performance improvement.
- The candidate should be able to work with middleware team in new deployments to the application.
- The candidate should be able to give recommendations on the new deployments for the application, test new deployments.
- The candidate should have experience working with VLDB (minimum of 1TB) hosting large tables.
- Provide ORACLE database engineering, design and administration services for several mission-critical applications/systems.
- Working knowledge of Oracle 11g oracle database administration.
- RAC on HP systems Veritas cluster file system, 11g RAC, ASM on Linux systems, Oracle data pump, export/import Oracle database migration, Oracle database backup and recovery,
- Familiarity with RedHat Linux, Writing shell scripts, Managing databases using Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Golden Gate
- Good communication skills.
