Job Title                        Java Developer Project Location            Harrisburg, PA Duration                         6 months /Contract Skills Required and Job Description: Interview mode:Telephonic and Skype The Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team. Position Description:  The position serves as a senior Java applications developer for Java solutions within the Business Solutions & Services.  The candidate responsibilities will include gathering and refining technical requirements, interfacing with the User community, provide new development support, provide   maintenance and application support including troubleshooting and best practices. Specific Duties: Follow the full Application Development Life Cycle for Java projects and initiatives. Provide development enhancements   and troubleshooting support for Java projects. Understand and follow best practices of enterprise level Client/Server Java applications. Perform data analysis on Java system database structures for new development purposes.         §        Experience with Software and Client/Server application development & Internet applications using Java/J2EE §        Experience in developing applications using Object Oriented and Web based technologies §        Experience related to Servlets, JSP, w/custom tags, Struts, Applets, EJB1,1/2.0, Java Beans, JDBC, JSTL, XML, _javascript_, XSLT, HTML, CSS or similar tech §        Experience with different IDEs like Eclipse 3.0, JBuilder. §        Development experience in server-side app using techs related to Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JNDI, JMS, JSTL, COBRA, UDDI, WSDL, SOAP, XML/XSL & deployed on app servers §        Experience in database and interfacing (back-end/front-end connectivity) skills using DB2 (SQL) §        Excellent understanding of SDLC §        Hands-on experience in developing top-down and bottom-up JAX-WS Web Services and JAX-RS-RESTFul Web Services. §        Hands-on experience working with .jar, .war and .ear files
